FTP Server Instructions

PopWare has an internal File Transfer Protocol site accessible from the Internet. This allows us to transfer very large files to you and for you to transfer files to us. You can use a number of commonly available FTP software applications to access this site. For example: AceFTP, CrystalFTP, CuteFTP, DragDropFTP, WS-FTP, etc. You can also use most web browsers by entering ftp:// and the address of the ftp site.

Once connected you will be in your own folder that only you can see. Popware will create a folder with your company name if you are getting files from us.

When sending us files, please include a simple text document with the filename containing your company name. This document should contain a list of the filenames and their sizes that we should expect

1. Connect to the Internet.
2. Use any FTP software or appropriate web browser
3. Log on to our server:

Host Name/Address: 67.69.136.26

User ID: Your User ID
Password: Your Password


To Post/Upload files to PopWare:
Select file to Upload, and activate the transfer process. This differs based on the FTP application you are using, but usually you simply press a "Transfer/Upload" button.


To Pick-Up/Download files from PopWare:
Select the file that you wish to download, and activate the transfer process. This differs based on the FTP application you are using, but usually you simply press a "Transfer/Download" button.
