PopWare Delivers Vendor Web Communications Portal to Engelhard Corporation

PopWare's Vendor Web Communications Portal brings together Engelhard's purchase orders from 12 sites and also makes them accessible from one location via the web. Authorized vendors can review and acknowledge their purchase orders for all Engelhard sites using the Internet. Vendors may request alternate delivery dates, or may notify Engelhard buyers of any price changes, which the buyer must approve before the original purchase order is automatically updated and finalized.

The Vendor Web Communications Portal is being augmented with PopWare's faxing/email solution, which automatically sends a copy of the purchase order and letters of reminders to the vendor via fax or email. Additionally, PopWare's Workflow product is being used to route requested delivery date and price changes to the appropriate Engelhard buyer for approval. The Workflow product enables the buyer to review and approve these vendor requested changes right from their email inbox.
